Personally I think stacking high DPS ranged would work better, just have the tank dance the walls and have everyone else stay off the island. I do want to try this though, for all of you who still want some "of the Nightfall" action.

uh no. the reason for 4 fury warriors and 2 dk's is lava spawns die in 2 sec when they come in range.

Don't they have like 4k HP? That is half a whirlwind or whatever.

if it was 4k a prot tank could solo all of them, they have about 26k and 66k enranged on 10man i think

I guess the question is whether they would do it fast enough to preclude the need for additional healers.

Seems like it would be easier on heroic then normal to me. You do not have to worry about having the right class to kite the drake in heroic, I bet you could do it with one heal too.

EDIT: It seems the dps requirement for 25 man is higher.

7670000 hp in 85 seconds requires 90235 raid DPS which would equate to a 2:24 Patchwerk kill. Maybe a little lower Patchwerk kill than that because more of the Sartharion DPS would be inside Hero/trinkets/CDs.

Oh yeah I forgot he gets the 25% health bonus.

9587500 / 85s = 112794 DPS or a 1:55 Patchwerk kill. That is a pretty decent DPS race, assuming 2 healers and 1 tank that makes 5127 average DPS, possible for us with that short a duration fight.
